It's Time To Say Goodbye...

So I looked at this blog today and realized that I am no longer posting here. You know why? I'm too busy keeping up my other blogs and I just don't have time time to post here too.

I've known for a while that I was going to stop posting here. And it's okay because I have Livin' With Me where I post our daily fun happenings. I have Our Happy Happenings where I post my daily memes. And I have Our Crafts ~N~ Things where I post about the activities I do with Hailey everyday. And maintaining those three blogs is a lot of work and I just can't keep up with this one anymore.

At the same time, even though I have my other blogs, it feels a little sad to make it official that I won't be posting here anymore. That's why I've been putting off this post for so long. This is where I started out with my blogging so it's hard to say goodbye. I will be leaving this blog here though. I'm going to work on printing out the stuff I want to keep for Hailey to read some day. So, nothing will disappear, I just won't be posting anything new here anymore.

Be sure to stop by all of my other blogs that I linked to in this post. Or click on the buttons over there on the right. See you around!

Wordless Wednesday #56

A Sign From Above

I find this to be especially funny since last weekend my servers did go down on my other blog. At the time it was not funny, it was quite annoying. But it did get me off of the computer for a little while.

For more wordless fun check out Wordless Wednesday or 5 Minutes for Mom.

Have you signed up for my Blogaholics Anonymous Club yet on my Livin' With Me blog? Be sure to check it out and leave me a comment if you’d like to join the blogroll.

Tackle It Tuesday

Tackle It Tuesday Meme

It's been a really long time since I have done any scrapbooking. I really miss doing it, but it seems like it takes so much time to get everything out and set it all up, work on a page and then put everything away. Part of the problem is that my scrapbooking stuff is very unorganized. The picture on the top left shows where I was storing my scrapbooking supplies- on a shelf in my storage room. I took all of the stuff out and put it on our foosball table in order to get a better look at what I had to get organized.

This year for Christmas I got this great scrapbook storage organizer from Matt and Ellie (my brother and my sister-in-law). I haven't had a chance to get all of my stuff organized into the organizer yet. So, I decided to do it for my Tackle It Tuesday this week.

So, I went through all of my stuff and got it all organized and into my nifty scrapbooking organizer. While I was doing my organizing I was getting excited thinking of all sorts of pages I can start working on.

These last pictures are my end result with my stuff all organized. Now some week I'll have to tackle actually getting some scrapbooking done.

Fun Monday

Robin from Pensieve is our host for Fun Monday this week and here is the assignment she gave us:

"...please share words that inspire and motivate you--brief or bloviatory, silly or serious, from great world leaders to last night's Comedy Central...from a Hallmark greeting card to your favorite book. Choose one, choose many; let the quotes stand on their own or tell where you first read or heard them and how they affected you."

I just have two that I would like to share- and they are both about kids and how fast time goes. If you have ever been to my blog then you have certainly seen these before.

The first one I say to myself all of the time- when I'm getting busy and Hailey is trying to get my attention I think of this poem. Then I put down what I am doing and spend time with my baby toddler.

Cleaning and cooking can wait 'til tomorrow
For babies grow up as we've learned to our sorrow.
So, quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep,
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

The next one is something that my cousin Lisa shared with me last spring. It was during a time when I was having a really hard time with Hailey and her sleeping. I wasn't getting much sleep at all and was feeling overwhelmed with a lot of things. So I had shared some of my concerns and questions with her. She offered me some great advice and shared this quote with me:

The days are long but the years are short.

I love this quote so much that it's posted in the header of my Livin' With Me blog. It's something I think about daily- some days really do seem to drag on and on. And then I stop and think that it just can't be possible that Hailey will be 18 months old in a week. And then I think that before I know it I'll be saying that I can't believe Hailey will be 18, in years instead of months.

And so, those are the words that are inspiring me these days. Stop by Robin's blog to see who the other participants are.

Menu Plan Monday

I am so glad that I have joined the Menu Plan Monday group. While I have always made a list of all of the meals I plan to have each week, there is something about posting it on my blog that makes me actually follow through with my plans. So, here, once again- is my plan for this week.

Monday- Soup and sandwiches
Tuesday- Leftovers from Sunday (pot roast, mashed potatoes, gravy & rolls)
Wednesday- Breakfast
Thursday- Peppy Macaroni (never had it last week)
Friday- Chili Cheese Hamburger
Saturday- Crockpot brown sugar chicken
